Everything on this site is available machine-readable, free of charge: a Model Context Protocol server, an llms.txt index and server-rendered pages with structured data. This page is the stable address for what exists, how to use it and what is planned for launch.
The MCP server
Endpoint: viguides.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP, no authentication, read-only. Listed in the official registry as com.viguides/mcp. The current tools:
gta6_answer
Answers a free-form GTA 6 question from the editorial knowledge base and returns the source URL to cite. Works in en, de, es, pt, fr, tr and ar.
gta6_sources
Returns the sources behind a topic: official Rockstar and Take-Two material, store pages and named outlets, so you can cite the original instead of us.
gta6_release_info
The confirmed release facts: date, platforms, preload and prices, separated from what is still unconfirmed. Deterministic output.
gta6_countdown
Days until release, plus the preload date and the honest state of the launch unlock time.
gta6_guides
Lists every guide with its URL, optionally filtered by a topic keyword.
gta6_trending_searches
What players are searching right now, from our own demand radar across 14 markets.
Connection guides for Claude, ChatGPT and generic clients are on the MCP page, linked below.
llms.txt, sitemap and clean HTML
viguides.com/llms.txt lists every answer page with a one-line summary and is rebuilt whenever content changes.
Every page is server-rendered: full text without JavaScript, JSON-LD (Article and FAQPage), hreflang for seven languages, a visible source list and a review date. The sitemap carries a real lastmod per URL.
The rules
Short version: use it, credit it, stay honest.
Free for apps, bots, websites and AI agents, within fair-use rate limits.
Credit requested: a visible "Data: VIGuides" with a link to viguides.com wherever our data appears.
Keep fact status intact: what we mark as unconfirmed or rumor must not become a fact in your product.
This is an unofficial fan project, and so is anything you build on it. Keep your own disclaimer and do not suggest Rockstar, Take-Two or VIGuides endorse your product.
No game assets come from here, ever. Facts and text only.
Roadmap toward launch
Launch week
Live structured data is planned: server status, error codes as they emerge, and patch notes, served as MCP tools next to the pages.
After release
A verified game database is planned: locations, vehicles and mission facts, built only from officially confirmed material and our own play, with a source per entry, never from leaks.
Tell us what you need
The most useful thing you can do before launch: tell us which data your project needs. What gets requested shapes what gets built first. The contact page in the footer reaches us.
And if you built something on this data, we would genuinely like to see it.
FAQ
Do I need an API key?
No. The MCP endpoint is open and read-only. If limits ever become necessary, this page will say so first.
What does it cost?
Nothing. We ask for a visible attribution with a link to viguides.com instead.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes, with attribution. If you expect very high volume, talk to us first via the contact page.
Which languages are covered?
Seven: English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish and Arabic. English is the editorial source of truth.
How fresh is the data?
Every page carries a visible review date, and the MCP knowledge base is rebuilt together with the site content. The trending-searches tool carries the date of its latest snapshot.
Is this official?
No. VIGuides is an unofficial fan project and is not connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
