When does GTA 6 come out?
Grand Theft Auto 6 releases on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar confirmed this date in November 2025 after two earlier delays, and Take-Two reconfirmed it in an SEC filing in mid-2026. As of this writing, no further delay has been announced.
What time does GTA 6 unlock in my time zone?
Rockstar has not published an official unlock time. PlayStation Store listings hint at a midnight local-time unlock, similar to past Rockstar launches, but this is not confirmed. We will update this page with the exact time and a time zone breakdown as soon as Rockstar confirms it.
Is there a new GTA 6 trailer, and what was the Netflix extended look?
Rockstar has released two official trailers so far, in December 2023 and May 2025. In August 2026, Netflix aired a 26-minute “extended look” with new gameplay footage as a marketing collaboration with Rockstar. That was a one-time preview, not a sign that GTA 6 itself is playable on Netflix. A separate, older GTA Trilogy (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas) has been on Netflix Games as mobile titles since 2023, which is likely why the two get confused.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a release date for one. Based on the last two games, that gap tends to be long: GTA 5 reached PC about 19 months after console, and Red Dead Redemption 2 took about 12 months. Expect a wait past the November 2026 console launch, with no confirmed timeline yet.
Is GTA 6 confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S?
Yes. GTA 6 launches exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Both console versions release on the same day, with no confirmed feature differences between them so far.
Are the GTA 6 leaks, like Cyberleek, real?
Some leaked clips have been confirmed as genuine footage from an older build of the game, reportedly no later than 2025 based on the music used in them. An anonymous source calling itself Cyberleek has been releasing clips since mid-August 2026, partly funded through crypto votes on what gets leaked next, and Take-Two is reportedly working to identify the source. Treat any leak site as unverified until Rockstar itself confirms something; we do not host or link to leaked material.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
The Standard Edition is $79.99 in the US, £69.99 in the UK, and €79.99 in the eurozone. The Ultimate Edition is $99.99, £89.99, or €99.99. Some leaked retailer listings mentioned higher prices for special or collector's editions, but nothing above the Ultimate Edition has been officially confirmed.
What's the difference between the Standard and Ultimate Edition?
Both editions contain the full game and release on the same day. The Ultimate Edition costs $20 more and bundles extra digital content on top of the base game; Rockstar has not published a full item-by-item breakdown beyond the price difference. Both editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack if pre-ordered before November 20, 2026.
What do I get with the Vintage Vice City Pack?
You do not have to pre-order for it. The Vintage Vice City Pack is free with every digital purchase made before November 20, 2026, so buying on launch day still qualifies. Reported contents: a '55 Vapid Stanier with the Shore Court Garage, two Vice City luxury outfits for each of the two protagonists, and an exclusive tropical weapon pattern.
Does GTA 6 run on PS4 or Xbox One?
No. GTA 6 is built only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PS4 or Xbox One version, confirmed or planned, so far.
Is GTA 6 coming to Nintendo Switch?
No version for any Nintendo Switch console, including Switch 2, has been announced. Given the console-first release pattern of GTA 5 and RDR2, a Switch port, if it ever happens, would come later, not at launch.
Has GTA 6 been delayed, and could it slip again?
Yes, twice. Rockstar first pushed the game from its original “Fall 2025” window to May 26, 2026, then delayed it a second time in November 2025 to the current date, November 19, 2026. Take-Two reaffirmed that date in an SEC filing in mid-2026, and there has been no announcement of a third delay since.
Who are Jason and Lucia, the GTA 6 protagonists?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are GTA 6's two playable protagonists, the first dual-lead pair in a mainline GTA game. Rockstar describes them as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style couple caught in a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida after a score goes wrong. Lucia is the first fully voiced female lead in a mainline GTA title.
Will GTA 6 have an online mode at launch?
Rockstar has described GTA 6 as a single-player experience and has not announced an online mode for launch day. Based on past releases, an online mode is likely to follow later: GTA Online launched 14 days after GTA 5, and the Red Dead Online beta opened 32 days after RDR2.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not published an official map size. Community estimates based on trailer analysis put it at roughly 118 to 132 square miles, against about 49 square miles for GTA 5's map. Treat this as an educated guess, not a confirmed number, until Rockstar states one.
What do we know about the GTA 6 soundtrack and radio stations?
Nothing official yet. Rockstar has not revealed radio station names, artists, or a soundtrack list. GTA games traditionally reveal this closer to launch, so expect an announcement in the weeks before November 19, 2026.
How many GB will GTA 6 be?
Rockstar has not published an official file size. Reporting puts the expectation at roughly 150 GB to 200 GB for the base game, with a day-one patch likely adding somewhere between 20 GB and 50 GB on top. We recommend clearing at least 200 GB of storage on your console ahead of release.
When can I preload GTA 6?
Rockstar has confirmed that digital pre-load starts on November 12, 2026, one week before launch. The game stays locked until November 19, 2026, so you can download it early but can't play until unlock time.
What are the GTA 6 PC system requirements?
There are none yet, because no PC version has been announced. Any “system requirements” list you find online today is a guess, not an official spec sheet. We'll publish the real requirements the moment Rockstar announces a PC release.
Will GTA 6 have crossplay between PS5 and Xbox?
Not confirmed either way. Rockstar has not made a statement on crossplay, and it isn't relevant at launch since there's no online mode yet. Neither GTA Online nor Red Dead Online ever supported crossplay, which makes it a genuine open question for whenever GTA 6's online mode arrives.
What languages does GTA 6 support?
GTA 6 supports 13 languages for menus and subtitles: English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Mexican Spanish, European Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Full voice acting is English only. Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Dutch, and European Portuguese are not on the list.
Is that “free GTA 6 download” or APK real?
No. There is no PC version, no mobile version, and no APK, so anything claiming to offer a free GTA 6 download or Android app is fake. These sites and videos have been linked to documented malware campaigns and fake Rockstar Social Club login pages designed to steal accounts. Do not enter your Rockstar or platform credentials on any site claiming to offer GTA 6 early or for free.
How do you make money in GTA 6?
Not known yet. Rockstar has not revealed the game's economy or money-making mechanics. In GTA 5, the stock market and heist payouts were the main routes; whether a similar system returns for GTA 6 is unconfirmed. We'll build a real money guide the moment the game is out.
What's the GTA 6 age rating? Is it okay for kids?
In the US, GTA 6 has an ESRB Mature 17+ rating, which surfaced through PlayStation promotional emails in May 2026. A PEGI 18 rating is expected in Europe but not yet formally certified. Reported content includes intense violence, blood and gore, nudity, strong sexual content, strong language, and drug and alcohol use, consistent with every mainline GTA game since GTA III.
Are there real GTA 6 cheat codes yet?
No. GTA 6 has not been released, so no official cheat codes exist. Any site listing “GTA 6 cheat codes” today is either reusing old GTA 5 codes or making them up. We'll publish verified codes, with the date we tested them, as soon as the game is out and cheats exist to test.
