There is no GTA 6 PC release date, because Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all. The November 19, 2026 launch covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. What we can give you instead of a guess is the actual console to PC gap of Rockstar's last three big releases, and the arithmetic that follows from it.

What Rockstar's history actually shows
Three releases, three different gaps. This is the whole evidence base, and it is thinner than the confident headlines suggest.
If you apply those three gaps to November 19, 2026, you get a spread rather than a date. The GTA 4 gap would put a PC version around mid 2027. The Red Dead Redemption 2 gap would put it around late 2027. The GTA 5 gap would push it to around mid 2028.
GTA 4: about 7 months
The shortest console to PC gap of the three, and the oldest data point, which makes it the least useful for predicting how Rockstar operates now.
Consoles on October 26, 2018, PC on November 5, 2019. Just over 12 months, and the most recent data point, which arguably makes it the most relevant one.
What would have to happen before a PC date is real
Three concrete signals. Until at least one of them appears, treat every PC date you see as invented.
A Rockstar Newswire post or an official Rockstar social account announcing a PC version.
A store page going live on Steam, the Epic Games Store or the Rockstar Store, with or without a date.
Published system requirements from Rockstar. For GTA 5, the requirements arrived with the PC release date announcement, not before it.
There is one more thing worth knowing before that day comes.
When the PC version arrives, expect a rough start
The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC launch on November 5, 2019 went badly. Crashes on startup were widespread enough that Rockstar had to publicly address them, and the error message players kept seeing became a search term in its own right.
That is not a reason to skip the PC version. It is a reason to keep your expectations of a launch-day PC release realistic, and it is exactly the kind of thing we will be tracking here rather than glossing over.
The RDR2 PC precedent
Rockstar publicly addressed widespread startup crashes shortly after the PC launch.
The absence of a real answer has created a market for fake ones, and some of it is actively dangerous.
Leaked PC release dates. There is nothing to leak, because no announcement exists to leak from.
System requirement tables presented as official. Rockstar has published none.
Any site offering a GTA 6 PC download, a crack or an APK. The game does not exist outside Rockstar yet, so these files are something else.
Fake Rockstar Social Club login pages. Documented malware and phishing campaigns have used the GTA 6 name, including fake login prompts and crypto scams.

When is GTA 6 coming to PC?
There is no date. Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all, so nobody outside Rockstar can answer this.
Is a GTA 6 PC version confirmed?
No. It is widely expected because Rockstar has brought every recent Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead game to PC eventually, but expectation based on history is not confirmation.
How long did GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 take to reach PC?
GTA 5 took 18 months and 28 days, from September 17, 2013 on consoles to April 14, 2015 on PC. Red Dead Redemption 2 took just over 12 months, from October 26, 2018 to November 5, 2019.
What are the GTA 6 PC system requirements?
Rockstar has not published any. Every requirements list you can find today was assembled by fans or sites guessing from other games.
Did the August 27, 2026 Netflix preview say anything about PC?
No. Rockstar showed 26 minutes of gameplay and cutscenes and did not address the PC version at any point.
Can I play GTA 6 on PC through cloud streaming or backwards compatibility?
