Is GTA 6 coming to Android or iOS?
There is no GTA 6 for phones. No Android version, no iOS version, no APK, no announced plan for one. GTA 6 is a current generation console game that launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar has never released a mainline GTA on mobile at launch. That is the disappointing part. The useful part is what follows: why every mobile download you can find right now is somebody trying to rob you, what GTA games genuinely do run on a phone, and where cloud streaming actually stands.

The fake GTA 6 Mobile app was an empty shell
An Android app circulating as GTA 6 Mobile turned out to be an empty Unity project with a fake Download OBB link. Tapping it sent users to a domain documented as having a history of serving infostealer malware, trojans, adware and ransomware. There was never any game inside it.
NordVPN's threat intelligence team documented an Android app posing as a GTA 6 Beta, complete with Rockstar style branding and an intro video. It contained no game. It served full screen ads and pushed users toward pages selling paid subscriptions and further downloads. One case was detected on May 17, 2026.
Fake GTA 6 APKs have been spread through Discord servers, YouTube videos and gaming forums. Reporting on the campaign notes that on Android some versions intercept SMS messages in order to get past two factor authentication, while payloads on other platforms ranged from credential stealers to cryptominers.
Some of them reached the official Google Play store
McAfee researchers warning about fake early access offers, secret beta downloads, counterfeit stores and unofficial launchers ahead of the November 19 release also noted that fake GTA 6 versions had been uploaded to the Google Play Store and were later removed. Store presence is not proof of anything.

The GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, as paid apps
GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas each exist as separate mobile apps published by Rockstar Games on the App Store and on Google Play. GTA: San Andreas Definitive is listed at 19.99 dollars, runs about 2.8 GB and carries an 18 plus rating. These are the old games rebuilt, not anything connected to GTA 6.
Rockstar brought the Trilogy to iOS and Android on December 14, 2023, alongside the Netflix Games release. The mobile versions were generally received as the better looking version of a rough remaster, which is part of why they are still being recommended years later.
Netflix Games carried the same three games at no extra cost for subscribers between December 2023 and December 2025, and all three have since been removed. If a page tells you to get GTA on your phone through Netflix, it is out of date. Our Netflix page has the removal dates.
GeForce NOW needs a PC version to exist first. None has been announced.
Xbox Cloud Gaming would need an announcement from Microsoft and Rockstar. None exists.
GTA 6 is not in Xbox Game Pass or the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, at launch or on any announced date.
No streaming service has listed GTA 6 as an upcoming title.
No announcement exists. Not from Rockstar, not from Take-Two, not from Microsoft, not from Sony, not from Nvidia. We are stating the absence of news rather than a confirmed no, because that is the honest version.
The mechanics are worth understanding, because they explain why this is unlikely to change quickly. GeForce NOW works by streaming games you already own after you connect stores such as Steam, Epic, GOG, PC Game Pass and Ubisoft Connect. GTA 6 has no PC version and no PC release date, so there is nothing there for GeForce NOW to stream. Xbox Cloud Gaming would be the other obvious route, and it is generally tied to Game Pass, which GTA 6 is not in and has not been announced for.
